Capital Campaign

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: The NEW New Canaan Library will be a world-class library to meet the needs of our community. The new Library will feature a 350 seat auditorium which can be reconfigured to accommodate multiple, simultaneous programs. A conference room and nine smaller meeting rooms will help satisfy the community’s demand for collaborative work space.

An expansive children’s room and garden will enable increased programming, indoors and out, while cozy seating amid well-displayed books will captivate our youngest visitors. The mezzanine will house the Community Living Room, a double-height space where readers can browse our print collections, then curl up next to a fireplace to read in comfortable seating.

Explore the plans and learn how you can contribute to this 42,000 square foot modern center of cultural life and learning that will serve our community for the next 100 years.
