While the Town of New Canaan provides a grant that helps cover the Library’s operating expenses, we need the community’s help to fund the rest. A conference room and nine smaller meeting rooms will help satisfy the community’s demand for collaborative work space.

An expansive children’s room and garden will enable increased programming, indoors and out, while cozy seating amid well-displayed books will captivate our youngest visitors. The mezzanine will house the Community Living Room, a double-height space where readers can browse our print collections, then curl up next to a fireplace to read in comfortable seating.
