Welcome to Beginning Spanish Class at New Canaan Library. This engaging and interactive 10-week course is designed for adults with little to no experience in Spanish. This course introduces the fundamental elements of the Spanish language within a cultural context. Emphasis is on developing essential listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Each lesson will also include in-class conversation practice and real-life situations such as talking about yourself.

Please note this course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to progress to more advanced Spanish classes. It is recommended that students attend all sessions with regular participation for optimal learning outcomes. All students must be present at the FIRST class or your registration will be dropped.
