Freading

Freading has over 11,000 ebook titles! HIGHLIGHTS: Large collection of romance and non-fiction: Lonely Planet travel guides, cook books, self-help, wellness, and SparkNotes study guides. The perfect app if you read 3 novels a week or if you read non-fiction and are already comfortable with digital reading technology. LIMIT: 3 books per week. 2-week loan. May renew eBooks for another 2-week period. No eAudiobooks.

Apple (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Click the login button.
  2. Login with your Library barcode number.
  3. Find a book to read and click “Download.”
  4. To read the book, you will need to download and download the Freading app from the App Store.
  5. Open the app and login with an Adobe ID.  If you do not have an Adobe ID, create one here.
  6. Your downloaded book will appear in the app. Tap the cover to begin reading.

Android (phone & tablet)

  1. Click the login button.
  2. Login with your Library barcode number.
  3. Find a book to read and click “Download.”
  4. To read the book, you will need to download and download the Freading app from the Play Store.
  5. Open the app and login with an Adobe ID.  If you do not have an Adobe ID, create one here.
  6. Your downloaded book will appear in the app. Tap the cover to begin reading.

Apple & Windows Computers

  1. Click the login button.
  2. Login with your Library barcode number.
  3. Find a book to read and click “Download.”
  4. To read the book, you will need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions (Windows | Mac).
  5. Once downloaded, you will need to login with an Adobe ID.  If you do not have one, you create one here.
  6. The downloaded book will appear in the library view of Adobe Digital Editions.  Click the cover to read the eBook.

Nook

  1. Click the login button.
  2. Login with your Library barcode number.
  3. Find a book to read and click “Download.”
  4. To read the book, you will need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions (Windows | Mac).
  5. Once downloaded, you will need to login with an Adobe ID.  If you do not have one, you create one here.
  6. The downloaded book will appear in the library view of Adobe Digital Editions.
  7. Connect your Nook to your computer.
  8. Drag and drop the eBook cover from your bookshelf to the Nook device listed in the left sidebar.
