Program Description

Event Details

For this design class for the 3D printer we will be playing with more irregular shapes in Blender. As we learn the tools Blender offers for designing for 3d printing, we'll create rock shapes as a base for alum crystals.  We'll discuss the process of growing crystals on 3d prints during the class, but your printed design will be soaked in the alum solution after class to be picked up later.

This is a more advanced class but still beginner friendly.  Some 3D design experience in Tinkercad or similar program is helpful but not required. Please note that due to the time it takes to 3D print an object, finished projects will be picked up after the class.  You will receive a confirmation email when your finished printed project is ready for pick up.  For students in grades 4-7.

Registration opens April 1 at 8am.
