Program Description

Event Details

Join high school volunteer Michael and librarian Laura to learn about constellations and designing for 3d printing.  We'll start with a brief presentation and discussion of constellations in our night sky then use Tinkercad to create a DIY constellation projector that uses a phone flashlight of our favorite constellation.  We will then learn how to set up our project on the 3D printer and start our print.  Please note that due to the time it takes to print an object, finished projects will be picked up after the class.  You will receive a confirmation email when your finished project is ready for pick up.  For students entering grades 4-7 in Fall 2024.
