Event Details

This program is an art workshop that is in conjunction with the Artscapades lecture on 3/11, please sign up for and attend the lecture prior to attending this workshop.

This workshop is a hands-on portrait painting experience inspired by El Greco and contemporary artists who were influenced by his work. In this workshop, we will be creating expressionistic portraits inspired by El Greco's dramatic style of portrait painting.

In this art making experience personal expression will be encouraged to create a work of art is either abstract or realistic. The instructor will provide reference images but asks the participants to bring any resources they would like to incorporate into their art.
