Celebrate Lunar New Year at the Library! Lunar New Year is a two-week celebration, and this year it begins on January 29. Join us in ushering in the Year of the Snake with dance and choir performances, food, and crafts from a number of Asian traditions. Local organizations and New Canaan community members will give insight into New Year’s customs. This program is ideal for the whole family. Arrive anytime between 2 and 4 p.m., and stay however long you are able. Please register each participant, whether child or adult.
This informative and fun program is a partnership between the Organization of Chinese Americans, Fairfield County Chapter (OCAFC), Connecticut Chinese Dance, the All Connecticut Chinese Chorus, and the Library.
