Program Description

Event Details

Climate Central provides a data-driven, fresh take on how to protect from growing weather threats, examine investment implications, and plan for a safer financial future. Their non-ideological approach uses big data, science, technology, and compelling visuals to help us make informed decisions, realistically assess local risks, and project how they’re likely to change. This program is co-sponsored with Planet New Canaan.

Climate Central, a policy-neutral, independent group of scientists and communicators, researches and reports the facts across diverse geographies and media ecosystems. They collaborate widely with scientists, TV meteorologists, journalists, and other respected voices to provide objective information that helps people understand what’s at stake and make informed decisions about a path forward.
