Program Description

Event Details

Do you love to draw? Join a few New Canaan High School juniors for a fun-filled, hour-long colored pencil drawing class on Sunday afternoon! We will draw various marine life, including colorful fish, turtles, jellyfish, and coral. Students will learn how to draw different textures and control the use of color. There will also be the opportunity to draw a full underwater scene with plants and animals.

*These classes are organized by NCHS junior Amy Meng, who has extensive experience in drawing and illustration. All art instructors have taken/are taking AP Drawing or AP 2D Art.

Youth Participation Guidelines

If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
