The Siege of Acre 1189-1191
Come and refight the Siege of Acre during the Third Crusade. By 1191, the city had been besieged for two years. But Richard the Lionheart has now arrived, giving a much needed morale boost and a chance for one final assault. Plenty of siege towers, a catapult named “God’s Stonethrower”, battering rams, and scaling ladders for the attackers. Boiling oil, rocks, archers and determined defenders await.
The game features a gigantic castle and hundreds of hand painted miniature soldiers and knights, and is hosted by the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Next Gen Inc. who have great experience in running games that are fun and challenging for players. Lots of fun, and learn some history as well!
Please pre-register. Games are facilitated by experts from HMGS Next Gen, Inc. who have great experience in running games that are fun and challenging for players. Presented by the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Next Gen.
