Program Description

Event Details

Chess Fest is a celebration where players of all ages and skill levels come together to watch, learn, play, and enjoy chess.

Beginner and intermediate chess players, join 32 Pieces Chess Club for individualized instruction. Depending on your experience, instructors will introduce the rules of the game and help you think strategically. Lessons are ideal for ages 6 through adult. 

Lessons will also be offered at 1:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. To ensure that as many people as possible can benefit, please only register for one time. 

Registration information will be shared with 32 Pieces Chess Club.

Participation Guidelines

If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the library for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released from class before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
