Program Description

Event Details

Using images from or inspired by Semaphore by artist Torrance York, participants will learn about how creative processes like photography and zine-making can favorably impact our health. The intergenerational workshop begins with an artist-led tour of the Semaphore exhibition in the Library’s Lightburn Gallery, and continues with Technology Education Librarian Laura Miller guiding us through making our own zines in the MakerLab. Materials will be provided for participants to create a collage-style 8-page pocket zine. Feel free to bring your own materials to augment your choices or share with others!  This is a multi-generational event open to adult and teens age 12+.
