Program Description

Event Details

Boxing may surprise you! It’s good for your brain, lungs, and heart. It relieves stress and builds confidence. You can do it at any age and in virtually any condition; boxing is especially good training for those lacking joint mobility and coordination, and it has even been shown to slow the progression of Parkinson’s disease. Plus, boxing is fun!

Join Jamal Beau, experienced boxer, trainer, and owner of Beau’s Boxing & Fitness for a one-hour introduction to boxing on the Library Green. No experience necessary, just come in comfortable clothing and ready to have fun. If you own your own boxing gloves, please bring them.
