Event Details
- How can I write about my strengths when I’m not sure what they are?
- How can I know what colleges are looking for?
- What if I don’t like writing – especially about myself?
Faced with writing a college application essay, high school students often feel paralyzed by questions like these. But even the most hesitant students can ultimately answer the essay’s key question: how have my life experiences sparked the kind of curiosity and drive to learn that will enrich a college community? Mr. Howard’s presentation will outline the five steps of research, planning, brainstorming, writing and revising that will help uncover each student’s answer.
