One in 13 children have a food allergy and every 3 seconds someone in the US is sent to the emergency room related to a food allergy. This talk will review the basics including the most common food allergies in the US, causes of food allergy, diagnosis of food allergy, common conditions confused with food allergy (celiac disease, lactose intolerance, FPIES), treatment of food allergy and most importantly how to SUPPORT your community with food allergy and keep your loved ones and children SAFE.
