Please bring your own laptop if you are able. A limited number of library laptops will be available for use. We will be using Repl.it, a browser-based coding environment, for coding. If you do not already have an account, you can create a free one prior to our first meeting.
About Hack Club
Hack Club is a global community that allows high school students to explore STEM concepts in a hands-on way. In Hack Club, we dive straight into the action, allowing you to grow your STEM skills in a fun, interactive way.
About the Club Organizer
Arnav Chaudhary is a junior at New Canaan High School. He is passionate about technology and has been programming Scratch since he was 4 years old, and Python since he was 7. Due to this early exposure, he has tinkered with technology for a long time and gained experience in development, including in advanced, upcoming topics, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is the developer of QuickAI, a Python library with over 25,000 downloads. QuickAI allows for the rapid creation of AI systems with very few, often single-digit lines of code, greatly lowering the initial barrier to entry for AI. He has been involved with Hack Club for several years.
