Say goodbye to dry, overcooked fish! In this demo-style class, you’ll learn the secrets of preparing moist, flavorful, and restaurant-quality fish every time. From pan-searing to gentle steaming, discover techniques that enhance texture and taste. Whether you’re a seafood lover or a hesitant home cook, this class will boost your confidence in the kitchen.
Come hungry for knowledge—and maybe a bite or two.
Chef Lamour Workman, was classically trained in France and her approach often reflects the skill and rigor of her education; however, she is mindful of making recipes accessible to the home cook. She lives in Queens, where everyone on the planet has carved out a place for themselves. Her food reflects who she is, where she calls home and how everyday encounters shape how she cooks and experiences food.
The next class is Principles of Cooking: Eggs on 5/31 from 10am - 12pm. Registration opens on 5/24 at 9am. Learn to poach, shirr, soft boil, make omelets and quiche, and prepare a hollandaise sauce.
