Program Description

Event Details

All aspects of our lifestyle impact the health of our brains. Join Dr. Raquel Harrison as she hosts a workshop on the impact of lifestyle choices in maintaining a healthy brain.

Dr. Raquel Harrison (MD, FACEP, dipABLM) is dual board certified in emergency medicine and lifestyle medicine. With over 12 years of experience working in large urban emergency departments, she has been heavily impacted by how often lifestyle choices result in visits to the hospital. Leveraging years working in education as an assistant professor and assistant residency director at Yale School of Medicine, she now directs her passion for teaching towards educating others about lifestyle medicine and it’s critical role in preventing and reversing diseases that commonly lead to emergency visits and hospitalization.  She has a deep desire to help people understand how to become the best versions of themselves by focusing on both physical and mental health and their complex interconnection.
