Program Description

Event Details

Join as we explore the library’s current Impressionist exhibition, Impressionism Then and Now: Dmitri Wright and the American Lineage. Artist Dmitri Wright will walk the kids through the show and inspire them to do their own sketches. Afterwards students will head back into the Children's Program Room to learn and explore watercolors with Dmitri's guidance. For students entering 4-8th grade in Fall of 2025.

Dmitri Wright is a Master Artist and inspirational Instructor. Dmitri's work is built upon the Impressionist Masters in the tradition of his mentors while rooted in his classical training in the Academy and his experimentations of Expressionism and Abstraction.
