You have heard of proteins in your post-workout shake but did you know that proteins in your body shape your life and impact your health? From maintaining to repairing your cells to keeping your organs running, proteins are essential players in the body. In this talk we will discuss what happens when proteins don’t act like they should and how that leads to disease. Join Yale student scientists, Delyar Khosroabadi and Halona Dantes, as they explore the secrets of proteins beyond just nutrition.
