Program Description

Event Details

We will start this class with a presentation from Michael on his experiences with Formula One Racing and discuss the basics of aerodynamics and simple machines. We will then take what we've learned as inspiration for building our own spool racers that we will race at the end of class! This class is co-taught by teen volunteer Michael and Librarian Laura. For ages 8-12.

About Michael

Hello! My name is Michael Telesco. I am 14 years old and am an avid motorsport follower and fellow car geek. This year I am going into my sophomore year at New Canaan High School. I have been obsessed with cars since a young age and have recently(2 years ago) fallen in love with Formula One. Since then I have learned almost everything there is to the sport and am excited to share some of my knowledge with you!
