Program Description

Event Details

Having the right tools and knowing how to use them saves time in the kitchen. This hands-on workshop offers a supportive and relaxed environment where you’ll learn essential knife techniques tailored to meet the needs and comfort of adults. This course will enhance your kitchen confidence, from safe knife handling and proper grip to mastering simple cuts like dicing, slicing, and chopping. Please bring your own apron.

In this session, participants will learn:  

  • Safe knife handling and maintenance 

  • Understanding different knife types and their uses 

  • Basic cuts: chop, slice, dice, and julienne 

  • Proper cutting techniques for various foods like vegetables, fruits, and herbs 

  • How to maintain knife sharpness at home 

                         

Library Parking
