Greenwich resident Fred Landman acquired a handsome Georgian Revival house and grounds in 1994. Deeply committed to the concept of harmony between house and garden, he has dedicated himself to the landscape to create "a garden of which the house could be proud”.  ”Sleepy Cat Farm: A Gardener's Journey” is an illustrated tour of this lavish estate in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Sleepy Cat Farm’s mission is to instill public awareness of horticulture, landscape architecture, and the value of plants in our lives. It is a collaboration with esteemed Greenwich architect Charles Hilton and celebrated landscape architect Charles J. Stick who, with Landman, created an abundance of garden experiences across the 13 acres of land—formal boxwood and hornbeam hedges, dense woodland, reflecting pools, arbors and follies—and a "ferme ornée" offering organic produce to the community. Hillsides and vistas change daily, monthly, almost minute by minute, in this undulating landscape of surprises, intrigue, and unexpected beauty.

Elm Street Books will be on-site selling ”Sleepy Cat Farm: A Gardener's Journey”.
