The New York Times' Modern Love column celebrates storytelling of the heart. In this 4-part writing workshop we will read past Modern Love columns and then put pen to paper to attempt the depth of writing heartfelt stories and memoirs require.
According to VeryWellmind.com, there are five types of love: friendship, companionship, infatuation, passionate, and unrequited love. It takes good personal writing, says Daniel Jones, editor of the Modern Love column, to write about love, loss, and loyalty in an honest, generous, and humble manner and to do it well and convincingly.
February is the month of love. Let's write.
This is Class #1 of a 4-part series. Registration on the first meeting will register you for the series.
