Join us for our August Non-Fiction Book Club as we read Cristina Rivera Garza's 2023 Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir Liliana's Invincible Summer: A Sister's Search For Justice.

This powerful memoir weaves a gripping narrative, recounting the life and tragic death of the author’s sister, Liliana. Through her investigative journey, Rivera Garza explores family, loss, and resilience, providing a profound commentary on violence against women. Rivera Garza combines memoir, true crime, investigative journalism, and poetic biography to create a personal and political work.

Whether you're a long-time member or a first-time attendee, our book club welcomes all perspectives and encourages lively discussion.
