This group reads broadly, with a focus on literary award winners and well-reviewed fiction, translations, and indie bookstore reads. Up for discussion this session is Elena Knows, by the Argentine writer Claudia Piñeiro. Shortlisted for the International Booker Prize 2022, Elena Knows is a unique tale set over the course of a single day and interweaves crime fiction with societal and familial issues.
