Event Details
Dive into the magical world of 'Open a Story'! Led by Jessica Ruhlin, a 7-year Teaching Artist from the New York City Ballet and a Kennedy Center Teaching Fellow, this enchanting experience will turn your favorite children's tales into a whimsical journey of creativity. Through the Harvard Think Tank Project Zero's 'See Think Wonder' and the Studio Habits of Mind, kids will unlock their imagination to craft a one-of-a-kind performance piece. Children will delve into stories, collectively pondering what might unfold next, what lies beyond concealed doors, or how the narrative might unfold underwater. This class will go beyond simple memorization, fostering curiosity and concentration, all while enjoying recreating timeless tales. Best for ages 5-8.
