Join Amy on a Saturday afternoon for an hour-long realistic drawing class covering drawing basics and techniques, including shading, blending, and texture. We will then progress into drawing three-dimensional shapes and objects. 

This class is intended for children entering grades 3 through 6 in Fall 2023. Registration will open 8 a.m. June 1. 

Amy Meng is an incoming junior at NCHS with extensive experience in drawing and illustration. She took AP Drawing her sophomore year and has received multiple awards from the Scholastic Art Awards.

Youth Participation Guidelines

If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
