Age Group:
Grades K-5Program Description
Event Details
Each month we will focus on a coding concept and retro video game as we work to develop our own games in Scratch. We'll start by playing a retro video game focusing on the game mechanisms and controls. Then we will code our own version of the game in Scratch. After we cover the basics, you will be able to make your game your own through graphic design, character development or adding more complex code. No Scratch experience is necessary. You may log in to your own Scratch account or use a library account for this class. For students in grades 3-5.
Registration opens November 1 at 8am.
