Program Description

Event Details

Each month we will focus on a coding concept and game style as we work to develop our own games in Scratch.  This month will be blend storytelling with video game design to create a narrative-based game. After we cover the basics, you will be able to make your game your own through graphic design, character development or adding more complex code. No Scratch experience is necessary.  You may log in to your own Scratch account or use a library account for this class. For grades 3-5.

Registration opens October 1 at 8am.

Youth Participation Guidelines

If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
