Registration opens March 1 at 8am.
Zane Tickoo, a junior at New Canaan High School, strives to be a leading voice for agricultural reform, working to empower people with the tools needed to reshape our inefficient food system. Years of experience as a farmhand, combined with intensive study of food systems, have led him to realize that increasing food literacy and food diversity holds the key to safeguarding the environment, public health, and the economy. He is currently collaborating with government organizations, non-profits, and local community groups to create a more sustainable and equitable food system. Zane recently delivered a TEDx talk titled “The Power of the Plate”, which you can watch here.
