Demystifying Acute Care: Navigating Hospital Stays As We Age

Any hospital stay brings a certain level of anxiety. Much of this derives from a fear of the unknown. At this event, presented by Oasis Senior Advisers, our panel will demystify a hospital stay, to help ease some of those fears. They will cover some general information about how a hospital works, who plays what role and how decisions are made. There will be practical tips such as what to be prepared for, how to manage expectations and how to advocate for a senior loved one.
