This September, TEN prioritizes parents in our community as we come together during this difficult time.

In light of the recent tragedy that has affected us all, we are expanding our parent support session. Originally focused on parents of 2e children (gifted with learning or emotional challenges), we now welcome ALL parents who need support and guidance.

Parenting is an extraordinary journey, but it can be especially challenging during times of community mourning. This session is designed to connect parents with valuable insights, guidance, and support for navigating these difficult circumstances.

Feeling overwhelmed? Seeking practical strategies? Want to learn more about self-care and building resilience? You're not alone! This session is a space for parents to find support and resources.

This parent-focused session offers:

  • Expert & Parent Q&A: Engage with our panel of experts and fellow parents to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and share experiences.

  • Actionable Strategies & Resources: Learn practical tools you can implement to support your family, especially during challenging times.

  • Self-Care Focus: Discover strategies to prioritize your own well-being and prevent burnout, which is especially important as we process community grief.

Our Expert Allies:

  • Mary Dobson, MA, LMFT, CEDS (Founder of LIFT Wellness): Mary is a renowned psychotherapist who specializes in building strong family dynamics and fostering positive communication. Her insights will be invaluable as we work to support parents during this time of community mourning.

  • Denise Vestuti, Clinical Social Worker/Resource Specialist for Resources to Recover (RTOR) www.rtor.org: Denise brings her expertise in identifying mental health resources and support options for families. Her thoughtful approach to finding the right resources offers hope and a lifeline to parents in need. Denise will focus on ways to accelerate intervention support for social and emotional care, which is crucial in our current circumstances.

Empowering Parents:

  • Effective Communication: Discover techniques for open and positive communication within your family and community.

  • Stress Management: Learn practical tools to manage stress and build resilience as a parent, especially during times of collective grief.

  • Building a Support System: Explore resources and strategies to build your own supportive network and contribute to our community's healing process.

  • Self-Care Strategies: Prioritize your well-being to better support your family and process your own emotions.

While we will still address specific challenges faced by parents of 2e children, this session is open to all parents who seek support and guidance during this difficult time.

Join us for this transformative and empowering parent support session as we come together as a community!

Important: Please Register
