Tweens & TeensProgram Description
Event Details
In this special hour-long session, teens will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about climate conservation and outreach from an expert in the field. A wonderful opportunity to build your resume or college application!
In her bestselling work Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World, and popular TED Talks viewed by over 5 million people globally, world-renown climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe reveals her remarkable talent for translating complex climate issues into accessible public discourse. Hayhoe asserts that the key to tackling climate change is to start by understanding how any change to our environment naturally connects us. Through the broad lens of sports, food, travel; faith, family, health; jobs, insurance, or housing, Hayhoe will help us find common ground via a bridge-building approach to clarifying challenges and identifying possible solutions.
Please pre-register as space is limited!
