This July, TEN empowers YOU to advocate for your 2e child!

Do you feel unsure about:

  • Navigating the special education system?

  • Advocating for your 2e child's unique needs?

  • Collaborating effectively with educators?

You're not alone!

Join us for a collaborative session with Inclusive Together! This session equips you with the knowledge and strategies to champion your child's educational needs effectively.

Empowering You to Advocate:

  • Expert Q&A: Engage with a panel of experts to ask questions and gain valuable insights.

  • Understanding the System: Learn about special education basics (eligibility, IEPs, 504 plans). Discover how these frameworks can support both 2e and autistic students.

  • Open Forum & Community Building: Connect with other parents, share experiences, ask questions, and build a supportive network.

Our Expert Allies:

  • Carole Pakkala: A retired special education administrator and teacher, Carole can share insights into the basics of special education, including eligibility criteria, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and 504 plans.

  • Virginia Blum: An experienced educational advocate familiar with 2e children's needs, Virginia will provide expertise in addressing not just behavioral challenges but also supporting their gifted needs.

Together, We Can:

  • Become Informed Champions: Gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate the special education process effectively.

  • Bridge the Communication Gap: Learn strategies to collaborate productively with educators and secure the support your child needs.

  • Empower All Learners: Advocate for accommodations that address the unique learning styles of both 2e and autistic students.

Join us for an informative and supportive session!

Space is limited, so register today!

Together, let's champion our 2e children and empower them to reach their full potential!
