Understanding Skilled Care as We Age

Sounds Serious: Skilled Care: There are times when we need more than just a helping hand, when the service of a licensed clinician is required to deliver the care needed. Sometimes this is to recuperate after a hospital or rehab stay, but it can also be for chronic (ongoing) care. These services, whether they are Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy, or care requiring a nurse like wound care, feeding and breathing apparatus are referred to as skilled care.  Our panel will discuss when one would need it, where one finds it and who pays for it?
