“Characters are not created by writers. They pre-exist and have to be found.” - Elizabeth Bowen
Crafting relatable and vivid characters is integral to story telling. It is important to know each character's backstory: their traits, the quirks, faults, and flaws that set them apart and give them motivation toward good or evil. We will create character arcs and organize the story before beginning to write the first paragraph.
Come prepared to write. Laptops are welcome and please bring your power cord.
