How do you get the innermost thoughts of your story’s characters down on the page? In this session of Writing Tips, we will use prompts to learn how to develop richer, fuller characters and then transmit the emotions, daydreams and longings – and the actions - of your characters to your readers. We will be writing in class, so come prepared with laptop or writing supplies.

Writing Tip sessons are open to writers of all levels and meet once a month on Saturday mornings, focusing on different writing techniques

Instructor Laura Woodward Cavers has been a writing instructor for 10 years and holds an MFA in Creative Writing.

The next Writing Tips meeting is November 18 discussing figurative language in storytelling.
