Curated by Creative Connections, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting global understanding and empowering student voices through the arts, "My Story Revealed" is part of their award-winning Global Voices - ArtLink program, which connects 4th-12th graders from different countries through collaborative storytelling and art. This unique initiative allows young artists to share their personal narratives and cultural experiences, offering insights into diverse global perspectives. The exhibition features a beautiful collection of pieces created by students participating in the Global Voices - ArtLink program from the past 30 years. Each work of art tells a story, reflecting the individual experiences and cultural heritage of the young artists. Through their creations, visitors will be invited to explore themes of creativity, empowerment, cultural understanding, empathy, and global citizenship.
“Whether their pieces are beautifully rendered or simply drawn, delightful or thought provoking, the young artists have expressed their identities, shared their stories, and conveyed the aspects of their lives and society they treasure – or are concerned about. This collection includes youth voices from 28 ArtLink partner countries, transcending political systems and geographical boundaries. Art is a universal language, and the viewer is invited to reflect on their own story, cultivating a deeper sense of empathy and appreciation for the multi-faceted tapestry of human experiences we are all part of.”- Creative Connections
