Interested in starting a business and getting people excited about your products? Curious about how big brands create advertisements that capture your attention? Join high school senior Annika Khurana for another session of Money Matters, back by popular demand!
This two-day session will cover basic marketing strategies and ways to analyze the real-world impact of advertising. Students will craft their products through a marketing specialist’s lens and develop thoughtful advertisements to garner a “customer base.” Later, students will learn about comparison shopping to assess how advertising influences purchases. Concepts taught in this series can lay a foundation for financial literacy and money-management habits for years to come. Please plan to join us for both classes (April 15th and 16th), as lessons will build on each other.

Youth Participation Guidelines
If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
