Event Details
T'is the season for telling great stories. Whether writing memoir, essay or fiction, the season is rich in content. Let's capture it all - from the comical to the sublime, from family gatherings, parties, and 11th hour shopping dilemmas to the emotions that the holidays bring.
The classes will be held on Thursday evenings: 12/5, 12/12, 12/19. Please bring a prop (a favorite decoration, a book or movie or song, piece of clothing, photographs, favorite food recipes etc.) that we will use to generate stories and memories.
Laura Woodward Cavers instructs the class and has ten years experience teaching writing at Darien and New Canaan Libraries. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and hopes to have her first novel, Bell Weathers, published in 2025.
Registering for the first class covers registration for the full series.
