Aging is universal and inevitable – and it doesn’t have to be daunting. With a positive attitude and some planning and foresight, we can age successfully. In partnership with Staying Put in New Canaan, please join us for an informative, four-part series that will address important issues to help you, or a loved one, be prepared to age well.
You can't take it with you! That old saying holds true, so you might as well put careful planning in place to make sure what you have – or leave behind – goes to whom or where you desire. In this first session, Michael Nedder of Nedder and Associates, Darien will present an overview of wills, trusts and estate planning.
About the Speaker: Michael T. Nedder is the managing partner of Nedder & Associates. He founded the firm in 2011 after practicing law for 12 years in New Canaan. Attorney Nedder is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and the District of Columbia. He is also on the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. Throughout his career, Attorney Nedder has always been an active volunteer and community member, providing Pro Bono work, and serving on the boards of various public and private charitable organizations.
Make sure to join us for the other three sessions in this series:
10/4 6pm: Living Well as We Age: To Downsize or To Stay in Place?
10/18 6pm: Final Decisions: Taking Control of Your Journey
