Event Details

This three-session workshop will explore the properties of color, examining the meanings of hue, chroma, and value. The classes will consist of a visual presentation that reviews the fundamental properties of color, followed by activities exploring color analysis using paper, optical mixing with colored pencils, and determining and interpreting color symbolism, subjectivity, and arbitrariness. Each workshop will cover a different aspect of color theory, and you will receive one-on-one feedback on your work. Class discussion is encouraged.
