Program Description

Event Details

In this two-day workshop, explore the expressive hues of colored pencils. On the first day, we will work with colored pencils, navigating cross-hatching, blending, and color analysis. Working from life, the workshop looks to engage the drawing sensibilities of pencil with the element of color. Building off the first day, day 2 explores watercolor pencils. Similar to colored pencils, water-color pencils are a drawing medium that can also express a painterly mark and different blending capabilities. Each class focuses on creating your own drawing with the mediums.

Please note: you may not attend this class if you already attended the February color pencil two-day workshop.
