Program Description

Event Details

This four-session workshop will explore where fashion, nature, and art converge. Students will create nature-inspired fashion sculptures using a 12-inch mannequin as the foundation. For inspiration, we will look at current and historical creative fashion design and the perfection of design in nature. Participants will craft a piece combining ideas from the fashion and natural worlds.

Through this hands-on experience, students will develop skills in combining natural and manufactured 'natural' elements to produce a fashion piece that transcends traditional design boundaries. By the end of the class, each student will have completed a unique fashion sculpture that reflects their particular vision.  This class is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
