Event Details

Join the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra to explore percussion instruments! Hear the beat of the Percussionists as they explore American music through the years, and learn about the global origins of our modern-day percussion instruments.  How do Jazz beats differ from traditional orchestral music, or ballet, hip hop, other?  Everyone will have a chance to add their own energy to the presentation with our Percussion Petting Zoo and create your own unique rhythm to share!
