Join our engaging and creative Air-Dry Clay Pottery Workshop at New Canaan Library. This course is designed for pottery enthusiasts of all skill levels. Throughout four sessions, participants will gain hands-on experience working with air-dry clay, from the basics of hand-building techniques to creating unique pottery pieces without the use of a kiln.

To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, it is important that registrants commit to all four sessions.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Gain foundational knowledge of working with air dry clay.
  • Develop hand-building skills and learn various pottery techniques.
  • Create and finish unique pottery pieces.
  • Explore creative expression through clay art.
  • Connect with fellow pottery enthusiasts and share your artistic journey.

All materials and tools will be provided by the library. Participants should bring an apron or wear old clothes, as working with clay can get messy.

Please note the last class will take place on Friday, August 2nd not Thursday, August 1st
