Join Norwalk Symphony as we explore percussion instruments! Have you heard of the Djembe, the Guiro or the Claves?  Learn all about these and more as our musicians take you on an exploration of these traditional percussion instruments from around the world.  Learn about the global origins of our modern-day percussion instruments.  How do jazz rhythms differ from traditional orchestral music, or ballet, hip hop, other?  Everyone will have a chance to add their own energy and create your own unique rhythm with our Percussion Petting Zoo.
